The weather, the architecture, the festive feels, who wouldn’t love to explore this heaven on earth. Spain has it all, stunning landscapes, exotic beaches, and flavourful cuisines. Passion blazes in Spain.

It is among the most visited countries with 84 Million tourists in 2019. Now, that is some number. If you still aren’t convinced, here are 6 reasons that will surely make your mind to visit Spain.

Alluring Beaches

Scenic, relaxing, and incredibly pleasing beaches are some of the various reasons tourists visit Spain. Just imagine staying near the beach and coming down whenever you fancy. Ibiza, the Spanish island, is one of Europe’s top party destinations. Parties hosted at Playa d’en Bossa go all night long.

The islands of Mallorca and Menorca are fantastic spots for resort holidays. Costa del Sol and Costa Blanca are popular with budget travelers. Finally, don’t forget about the Canary Islands. They have their own staggering beaches. The Foundation for Environmental Education in 2020 awarded a Blue Flag to different beaches in Spain.

If you’re a party freak, then Spain is your new home. Spain’s festivals are known for their sheer madness. The famous Pamplona (Bull Run), Haro Festival (wine fight) and La Tomatina (tomato fight) are some of Spain’s craziest festivals. Each Town in Spain holds its unique fiestas, where people get together, eat, drink, dress up and celebrate life to its fullest.

Spain is a center of excellence, when it comes to architecture. Beautiful buildings are everywhere. Sagrada Familia and Casa Batlo are some of Antoni Gaudi’s brilliant works present in Barcelona. Spain has beautiful streets. If you have a photographer in your soul, Spain is going to a paradise for you. The country has striking streets with a lot of characters along with the characters living in them.

France might be labeled as Europe’s wine capital, but Spain is the dark horse. It was ranked high in 2019, when it produced 33.500 Million hectoliters. It was nearly 23% Europe’s total production. The mesmerizing La Rioja and the Ribera del Duero are major Spanish wine regions. The Spanish sparkling wine, Cava, is made in Catalonia. While in southern Spain, Jerez de la Frontera produces sherry. Enjoying a drink with your loved one will be so soothing.

Sports Fever

Spain is known for two major sports, Football and controversial bullfighting. Apart from these two, in Catalonia, skiing along with other winter sports is famous. Windsurfing, surfing, and scuba diving are popular along the Valencia coast. Jai alai is Basque’s favorite recreation. While equestrian events attract vast numbers of participants and spectators. Madrid is known as the mecca of bullfighting. Enjoying them will be refreshing and thrilling.

La Liga, one of Europe’s biggest football leagues, is in Spain. Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are club football giants. If you get a chance to watch a match at Barcelona’s Camp Nou or Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, it will be a lifetime experience. Getting a ticket for El Classico would be a dream come true for any football fan.
